Nice group of colleges was instituted in 1991 under an education society know as network institute of computer education [NICE] Society]. The institute was also given the same name NICE. At that time, it was the only institute affiliated with the Punjab board of technical education. In this institute one year program, Diploma in computer Application (DCA) was launched. In 1993, DBA classes were also started. In 1995, M.Tayyab the student of DCA of this college got first position all over the Punjab. As an approve study center of AIOU, the institute commenced the classes of PGD and BCS in 1997. In 1999, the regular classes were initiated. In addition to that BA/B.Sc classes with all combination were started. Intermediate classes of F.A / F.Sc / ICS / I.Com were initiated in 2004. In 2007 the classes of B.Com were started regularly. In 2009, the classes of M.A. English, M.A. Urdu, M.A. Islamiat and M.Com were also started regularly. In 2015 Master in Computer Science classes started regularly. Nice group of college consists of one Boys College, one girl’s college and one commerce college. Thanks’ to Almighty Allah that the responsibility of providing education and consultation has been taken up by very talented, diligent and hardworking professors of Rahim Yar Khan. These are the people who are not only aware of the problems of students but also have enviable gift of ability to solve these problems.
Globalization and information Technology continue to progress at a dramatic pace. To answer the demands of a changing society, Pakistan’s education system needs to shift its focus individual who simply absorb knowledge those who are able to creatively utilize excel in unfamiliar situations. These creative individual should be able to tackle situations from new perspective, break into new fields, excel in crisis management, and be rich in ingenuity. Private colleges have always being devoted to nurturing creative individuals and must continue in this condition, rising leaders who are able to carry Pakistan into the future. The rule of a college is to the diligently perform the duty of education, while at the same time maintaining strong links with society.
